Well, in case you guys didn't remember, last week I got transferred up to Hermosillo for the summer! And man is it HOT. Walking to our appointments everyday is literally one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life haha. We were able to meet Tania, a 22yo investigator who has a baptismal date for July 18th, and she is so prepared! She even told us she was going to make/sew her own dress for her baptism! She is exactly what you want to find in your investigators and I'm super excited for her and her decision to be baptized. Apart from that, we've been meeting some of the many member families in our area. My last area in Guaymas only consisted of one active member family but over here it is completely different. We had over 30 member families in our area, about ten to fifteen of them active in the Church. So it's been super nice to have some more work and lots of cool member families in the area.
My comp, Elder Divas, and I are getting along alright and I'm just really excited to get some work done over here. I really like the house (apart from the kitchen haha it's nasty) and it's super nice to have a big, clean bathroom for once.
Umm not much else has happened this week...this morning all of us in the zone had a huge water balloon fight outside of the church to try and cool us down a bit from the melting sun and that was super fun. The zone is a bit smaller than I'm used to, only 18 of us, but they all seem chill and we get along well.
Well I don't have much more to say because nothing comes to mind but if you have anymore questions feel free to ask me! Have a great week, love you guys!
Con amor, Elder Thayne
