This week our convert Jesus Roberto got confirmed in sacrament meeting and we've been re-teaching him a lot of the stuff we've already taught him again. But I really enjoy our lessons together because now we get to teach the doctrine a bit deeper and we can explain a lot more of the details and everything, it's great! It's a lot more spiritual and a lot easier to share your thoughts when the person you're teaching already knows almost all of the basics and has a strong desire to learn more about the gospel.
Other than that the work's been pretty normal lately...we set a baptismal date with a niño who's living with his grandparents for October 10th and I'm really excited for him as well. A lot of our investigators went to church this week and we're hoping to put some baptismal dates with them soon too.
Today for P-day we played some football at the church and then after played some 'Mafia.' There are a lot of new people in the zone so we got to meet a lot of them except for a couple. President Robinson opened up a lot of new areas (little towns) and because of that some missionaries won't be able to come around much because they live so far away.
The weather has cooled down a little bit, it POURED rain yesterday so that was a nice change from the heat.
That was about the week for me, thanks for all of the emails, love you guys!
Con amor, Elder Thayne
