This week was pretty solid! We've been looking for more families to teach because of the new transfer but up til about a few days ago we hadn't had much success. We've been continuing teaching our converts and their mom in order to keep prepping Swamy (the 14yo who still hasn't gotten baptized yet) for her baptism in a couple weeks. We haven't had too much work lately BUT Swamy has been bringing one of her friends to our lessons and she told us Saturday night that she as well wanted to be baptized! So our goal for this week is to teach her family and continue to teach the both of them so they'll be ready to make that covenant this transfer. Keep praying for us so we can find more families to teach!
On Saturday, President Hernández came down from Hermosillo to interview us and the Hermana Hernández looked over our daily planners and area books. It was a little weird because we knew that these would be our last interviews with him because the new one is coming on June 29th.
Everything else has been going well for us, I'm feeling great but the weather keeps getting warmer and more humid so I guess there's always something getting in the way of working as hard as I want to haha. I still haven't gotten any of the packages you guys have sent me...Mom you said that Yumby dropped it off in February at the office so it should have gotten to me by now because the zone leaders went there at least three times since then. Maybe talk to her and make sure that she really did drop it off already? As for the other two packages, they're going to get to me this month probably. All of the packages that are sent to Mexico have to go to Mexico City first and then are sent back up and the post office here is EXTREMELY slow. It's kinda sucky but I guess that's just how it is.
If you guys have any questions for me just let me know and I'll try to answer them the best I can! I love you guys, have a great week!!
Con amor,
Elder Thayne
