Good afternoon familia!
This week was soooooo humid. As you walk out the door in the morning you just feel like you walked into a sauna, no joke. Within the first hour of walking you feel like you're just completely covered in sweat and pure nastiness. But what makes it worse is that you're in a shirt and tie where the sweat just kinda sits there inside of the collar and there's no escaping that for the whole day haha. And even most of the houses here don't have AC and if you're lucky they might have a fan haha so teaching the lessons inside houses just makes it worse. I guess the only way you could really know what I'm talking about is just to experience it haha. Either way, it SUCKS.
As far as the work goes, we continued visiting a lot of less-active members and a few investigators. We've literally been finding less-active members of the church on the street after trying to contact them and they just tell us, 'yeah I'm already a member of your church but here's my address feel free to visit me.' Haha alright we'll do that. They're literally on like every street of our area haha. We also met some guy who had been baptized like 10 years earlier but just recently got out of prison and he said he had been praying for us to come visit him because he needed God in his life. The day after he got out (Wednesday) he saw us in the street and he called us over to his house and we taught him about repentance. I know that we found him for a reason and that it wasn't just a coincidence and I hope he can order out his life. We have another appointment with him this Wednesday.
Well, that about sums up the week I've had. It's definitely had its challenges but I know that the best way to serve the mission is to serve it working. I love you guys, have a great week!!
