Whew, my comp and I had an AWESOME week work-wise! Three investigators went to church yesterday and two of them have baptismal dates set within these next few weeks.
Yadira, has a baptismal date set for this Saturday and we're hoping to have that happen. We still need to teach here a few more things and then have her pass an interview and then she'll be able to be baptized. I'm hoping it won't take long to get that done so she can get baptized this Saturday and not the next but we'll just have to see how that goes.
Reyna, has been two church twice and seems super excited to get baptized but I know for sure that I won't be there for hers because I'm going to get transferred next Monday. Another investigator, Asusena, also went to church yesterday after only having taught her twice. We knocked on her door Wednesday and taught the first two lessons and wanted to go to church. It was way nice because it was also District Conference so Presidente Robinson was there to meet both of them. I'm really excited for what this area has to offer and I know the next Elder who gets here is going to have PLENTY of work to get done haha.
Speaking of that, transfers are this upcoming Monday so most likely you guys won't be getting an email from me until next Tuesday from my new area. I'm really looking forward to transfers and can't wait to get started there. I'd like to go to Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), and if not, go back to Guaymas or Hermosillo.
We played soccer this morning for P-day and then after to a member's house for some suuuuper good carne asada tacos. It was a great P-day.
I'm really enjoying the mission and really just trying to do the best with what I've got left.
Thanks for all of the emails, I love you guys! Que tengan una buena semana!!
Con amor, Elder Thayne
