One more week for the books! We've kept working with our progressing investigator, Jesus Roberto, and he looks ready and prepared for his baptism this Saturday! He's such a great guy and to be honest I think he's the best investigator I've ever had out here on the mission. He just understands everything so well and loves having us over. I'm really excited for him and can't wait for this weekend!
I've been doing well here with my companion, we actually get along really well because he's a really chill guy and we have a lot in common.
The heat's been pretty bad lately but we're hoping it will start to cool down a bit because of fall coming pretty soon.
I read an article online about Joseph Smith and the seer stone he used to translate the BoM and I thought it was a really good read! You guys should check it out. It's interesting because the church has never really been upfront about it but now they're coming out and are more open about the church's history. Here it is if you want to read it:
